Dance with us in the Old Home Day Parade!
Parade: Saturday, July 12th 11:00am
Meet at dance studio (9:30am) and walk up Barton Hill to the starting lineup around the high school, or meet us at our starting location (by 10:15am). Parade ends at the dance studio. Parade lineup TBD.
This year the theme of the parade is “a salute to small town business”, so what better way to celebrate and represent our studio than to get everyone dancing!
Current students, past students, parents, siblings, alumni, ALL ARE WELCOME! All ages!
I am creating a medley of simple dances that most will already know, (macarena, ymca, etc.) to be performed in the parade.
Commitment:
Attend BOTH practices:
Thursday, July 10th 7:30-8:15pm
&
Friday, July 11th 5:30-6:15pm
Cost: Purchase new t-shirt/tank top to be worn in the parade. $25 (these are different shirts than existing creative dance shirts)
If you don’t want to dance and would like to just walk with us, attendance to practices is not necessary. Send me an email if you would like to walk!
